Special Events Permitting

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Special Event in the City of Oak Harbor! Special Events Permitting is now administered by the Administration Department at City Hall.  If you would like to apply for a Special Event Permit, or if you have questions about a pending permit or an upcoming event, please email or call 360-279-4504.  You may also visit the Administation Department located upstairs at City Hall, 865 SE Barrington Drive.

Once you have reviewed the Guide, you may submit your Special Event Permit Application via our new online form, available at


After you have completed the online application, you will be emailed an invoice for the $50.00 permit application fee, and other fees as necessary.  Please come into City Hall to pay your invoice and submit your required additional documentation, as listed in the Guide and Permit Application.
