By Freeway
Take 1-5 North to Burlington (about 1.5 hours north of Seattle) and exit on the Burlington exit 230 toward Anacortes/San Juan Ferry. Continue west on Highway 20, approximately 15-20 minutes, towards Anacortes until you see the Oak Harbor/Whidbey Island cut off. Turn left at this intersection, continuing on Highway 20 for approximately 20-25 minutes. Entering the City of Oak Harbor, continue on Highway 20 until you reach Barrington Drive. There will be a stop light at the corner of Barrington and Highway 20. The Safeway shopping center will be on your right. Turn left at the intersection. Drive until you see City Hall on the right hand side of the street.

The Police Department is directly across the street from City Hall, physical address of 860 SE Barrington Drive.

By Ferry
Take the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton (approximately 20 minute ride, plus loading, unloading). Drive on Highway 525 to Oak Harbor (approximately 45 minutes). Highway 525 becomes Highway 20 between the cities of Coupeville and Oak Harbor. Highway 20 turns left at the Walgreens store. Go one block after the turn. Turn right on Barrington Drive. Drive until you see City Hall on the right hand side of the street.

The Police Department is directly across the street from City Hall.

At the next stop light, turn right onto 16th Avenue, then right into the Oak Harbor Municipal Shop complex (1400 NE 16th Avenue) – next door to the Oak Harbor Mini Storage.
