The Centennial Oak Grove is an initiative to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Oak Harbor.  Part of the city’s namesake, Garry oak trees have long been revered throughout the city. Through this program, 100 trees were planted to establish the grove starting in late Fall 2015 at the southeast corner of the intersection of West Fakkema Road and State Route 20.  Upon completion, this Legacy Project will create an area that can be seen by those driving in or out of Oak Harbor via Deception Pass Bridge.

When you volunteer your time and/or make a contribution it will go toward the general support of the grove, for items such as fencing, mulch, soil amendments, tree tubes, soil, etc.  We are happy to accept donations of any size for the project.
