 Press Release-Stage 1 Voluntary Water ConservationThe City of Anacortes Water Treatment Plant has notified the City of Oak Harbor that the flow level of the Skagit River has fallen below the minimum requirement due to low rainfall and snow pack. As a result, the City of Anacortes is asking the City of Oak Harbor and Navel Air Station Whidbey Island to join with them to conserve water with a goal of a 10% reduction in water use during this time.
