2008 Oak Harbor Comprehensive Plan Amendments

The City of Oak Harbor announces that the application period for proposals to amend the Oak Harbor Comprehensive Plan is now open. According to the Growth Management Act, cities may amend their plan only once per year. To guarantee consideration in 2008, complete applications must be submitted at City Hall by the close of business on April 30, 2008.

Water Use Efficiency

The City of Oak Harbor has made a committment to water efficiency since the early 1990s and our Water Utility Department and customers have improved water use efficiency since that time. Click on the link above to see conservation planning under the new state law.

2007 Transportation Plan

The Transportation Element of the Oak Harbor Comprehensive Plan guides the development of an efficient transportation system within the City. The draft plan can be reviewed by clicking the link above.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Site Evaluation

The Ad Hoc Wastewater Committee was formed to develop an independent recommendation of the type of treatment process and the location of a new treatment facility to serve Oak Harbor in the future.

Highway Improvement Funding
